Update on the outcomes after the fights have been done.

Thiago Alves (174) vs. Matt Hughes (170)

Both are great fighters and have the tools and the heart to take each other out, If Matt keeps to his game plan and strikes with him on his terms and does the takedown ground n pound to/or submission i see it going to Matt, However Thiago is just so damn talented and dangerous if he keeps control of the stand up and hurts matt early then it's thiago by tko or ko. This really is a 50/50 on who can win this.

Wow i gotta say, i called it, 2nd rd. Thiago with a flying knee while Matt was going for a take down and hurt his knee and got ground and pound ref stoppage/tko. Good fight, but don't count Matt out, yes he's slowing down but i believe he's got a good 2 to 3 years left in him if he wants it. Thiago can now really focus on a very possible title shot.

Michael Bisping (184) vs. Jason Day (184)

don't know too much about Jason Day, he's a well rounded fighter i know that much and Michael Bisping is well rounded as well, but i was considering his style to not having to envolved enough since The UtF.show. However if he keeps the fire he showed at the last ufc 83, then it's all Michael again by ko or tko.

Good Showing by both men, Bisping with some rapid fire punches and ground and pound 1st rd tko. Bisping is on a roll now and proving a point in his ability of stand up!

Marcus Davis (170) vs. Mike Swick (170)

Wow i like both fighters on a personally level and i both believe they deserve a title shot, however i feel that Mike may have the slight edge on Marcus but with more explosive skriking then Marcus, but Marcus could sneak in a submission so this one i feel will either end early or go to decision. Another true 50/50 match up.

Very close however Mike one it in a decision because of just being able to inflict a bit more damage and beat Marcus to the punch. This should also put both men especially Mike onto a title shot soon!

Thales Leites (185) vs. Nate Marquardt (185)

Wow both great fighters too, I see Nate winning this by ground and pound or submission, but has to watch out for the hands and feet of leites or a sneak submission. Another 50/50 match. Probably go to decision.

Awesome match up, sadly because of 2 points lost Nate lost the fight by decision to very talented Thales, however Nate would have one it if he had not lost those points. Clearly ref made a bad call on one of the point deducation to the back of the head when it was sad of the head.

Fabricio Werdum (247) vs. Brandon Vera (228)

Wow both great fighters again, I want Brandon Vera to win for pino pride but i can't look past Werdum who is a great bbj guy and has improved his stiking, I feel that Brandon has the better stand up but as we saw in the tim sylvia fight that he hurt his hand and tim stayed towards a game plan and won over B. the ground wise Werdum is a bit better but i feel Vera will stay outta of it. I say Vera by tko or ko 1st or 2nd round.

Another misunderstanding and bad call by ref. ref stoppage at 1rd for Fabricio over Brandon because ref thought he said quit, and not fighting back enough. Sad.

Martin Kampmann (186) vs. Jorge Rivera (185)

Ahh to vets with threats, I have to go with Rivera who's been on a role but don't count out kampmann who i think has a better ground game then Rivera but rivera will try to keep it standing and look for a knock out early.

Rivera got caught in a gullotine by kampmann for the win by submission 1st round. Good fight but quick.

Thiago Tavares (154.5) vs. Matt Wiman (155)

I say Thiago will win this one, don't know too much about Wiman, if they show this fight I guess i will found out..

Great match, Matt by knock out 2nd rd. ouch. Both men with too much skills.

Kevin Burns (170) vs. Roan Carneiro (171)

Don't know to much about the fighters but I would have to say Roan. Im not too sure at all to be honest in this one.

Roan didn't fight, and i believe burns won anyways

Luiz Cane (204) vs. Jason Lambert (205)

Jason lambert should win this one, he's been a pretty dominate in all his fights and will be looking to get back into it. Don't count out Cane yet.

Cane Caught Lambert wih a big shot and Lambert tried to fight back but ref stepped in to stop it. Great fight and good call.

Jess Liaudin (169) vs. Paul Taylor (169)

Don't know these guys well, So i'll guess Liaudin. I;ll have to found out more about these guys.

Antoni Hardonk (247) vs. Eddie Sanchez (244)

Wow 2 big boys I would have to say Eddie Sanchez on this one by knock out. But don't count Antoni because he has the skill set if he can hurt or tire out sanchez earlier.

Hardonk 2 rd by brutal ko also a good fight and how i called it.

Im looking forward towards this International show, I will post more on The elitexc. and wec show later. The Ufc is on a roll and can't wait because it's only gonna get better.
